Tommy Conway was born in Edinburgh in 30th January 1957. He worked hard as a plumber in the University of Edinburgh to provide for his wife Jane and their 3 children - Gemma, Jodie and Jade. He was delighted to become a proud and doting grandad to Caitlin, Ben, Abbi and Millie. He was also very proud of his 3 sons in law - Euan, Graham and Arron - he was a true family man. In 2003, Tommy was diagnosed with a rare lung condition called cryptogenic fibrosing alveolitis - so rare the doctors didn't know much about it. Sadly in March 2015, Tommy lost his fight with this disease, leaving a huge empty space in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing him. He is sadly missed by all his friends and family
